About the event
Welcome to the Cardiology Oncology Innovation Network (COIN). We are excited that you have joined us. COIN was conceived a couple of years ago to create a network of individuals in cardiology, oncology, other areas of health care, industry, COINregulatory affairs, finance, and more. We envision COIN developing into a consortium to focus on innovation, collaboration, and education in Cardiology and Oncology with emphases on the interface of the two (Cardio-Oncology), especially prevention. In the network, we will collaborate on various projects including multi-center AI applications and informatics-enabled registries. We may also collaborate with ACC, AHA, and ICOS on the EHR Dot Phrase/Template project and many others.
We had an inaugural introductory virtual Zoom Steering Committee style summit in December 2020 that consisted of a multi-stakeholder group from academia, technology, and industry with a shared interest in applying Innovation (Digital Health, mHealth, Telemedicine, Telehealth, Informatics, Precision Health, Computational Medicine, AI, ML, DL, NLP, NN,…
